Good surfing!!! That certainly offers up hope that other doctors

might have the same success. My endo told me recently that we need to

look at thyca as ever changing; this may be one of them!

Interesting and hopefull, especially for us newbies; somewhat

frightening from the viewpoint of anyone stuck in the " old, tried but

true " mindset. But that's just my newbie opinion.

---Jolie: I just went there with no problem, try it again:

Http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov:80/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd and see what happens.

I noticed that the patients in the study were only off meds for 4

weeks....no reference was made to TSH level. Maybe their TSH was not

very elevated, but with Thyrogen, TSH is usually VERY high. Perhaps

that made the difference?

I've scanned the hypo way 7 times and it takes the full 6 weeks for my

TSH to reach 30, so at 4 weeks, I know my TSH would not be high enough

for RAI to be effective. With Thyrogen my TSH was over 100 (last 2

scans).
