Also, when I left the cardiology office I gave everyone in the office (docs,

support staff, etc) a thank you note telling them how much I enjoyed working

with them and I put my business card in with it in case they ever wanted to get

in touch with me.

No matter job you end up taking, I'd encourage you to leave on very

good terms with your current employer. I'd also be sure to let them

know that if they ever change their mind to let you work at home, you

would love to hear from them. You never know what will happen down

the road, nor how long the new CEO will last :-).
