Guest guest
Terri, Sorry but I just had to jump in here. My partner and I were trying to conceive via DIUI and after only the second try we got pg but unfortunately it turned out to be the EP. Anyway after waiting 3 months we begin trying again. 3 months later no pg, and the main reason was that my right ovary is my dominant ovary and that's the side that my tube was removed on. So, I finally pressured my RE to put me on Clomid which he said I didn't need. I knew from my own research and other's experiences that it does help you O on both sides. So he finally agreed, and 3 months later I was pg. Each of those 3 months I had follies on both sides and the month I got pg I knew for sure I O'ed from both sides since I had corpus luteum cysts on both ovaries (see on the u/s when we saw the babies heart beat). I was 35 and really didn't feel like I had not to step things up so I would encourage you to talk to your doctor about Clomid. I honestly believe I would never have gotten pg without it. Guest guest
Hi Terri, I'm glad that while your waiting you will still be trying because you never know. I had my hsg done about 4 years ago as a part of my infertility workup with my old dr and it showed my tubes to be open, but the test still hurt like heck actually thinking back it was like a really really intense cramping. I can only imagine if I did have a blockage I probably would have passed out from the pain. Last July I had a sonohysterogram done with my RE that I go to now and I didn't feel a thing. And it is the same procedure only they use a saline solution no betadine dye and the sono showed everything ok uterine wise and my left and only tube showed patency. So I don't know if it is the betadine that caused the pain for me. Well you take care and I will keep you in my prayers for you to get that +++++ and get it soon!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Thanks Dana! I'm going to call my ob/gyn today and ask him his opinion on this. I really appreciate you taking the time to write about your experiences. Terri --- gradstu12@... wrote: > Terri, > > Sorry but I just had to jump in here. Guest guest
Thank you .. I'm so overwhelmed right now. Things aren't going so great with my husband these days either, mainly because he is frustrated with my emotions. I just hope something gets better soon... Thanks for thinking of me. Guest guest
Terri, I am sorry to hear that things are tense between you and dh. I am hoping right along with you that it gets better soon. Hopefully seeing the specialist will help to give you a new perspective and a plan...sometimes that makes all the difference in the world. In the mean time, try to keep your chin up and not to lose hope. -AmyR

Guest guest
Terri, I am so sorry to hear that you are having problems. Lord knows that suffering a loss like we have and trying to ttc again and going throuh all those emotions, sure can put strain on a relationship. Specially like we have said so often here, our dh/dp just don't seem to really understand all we have been through. It doesn't just end after we lose our babies, nothing is the same. I hope things get better for you and your dh. I know Don stil doesn't get all the emotions I felt and feel. You know no matter what good things that have happened to me since my ep, Don doesn't understand that there isn't a day that goes by that I don't remember the baby I lost. I wish we could just make them understand things....yeah, right....life would be a heck of alot easier if that were the case!! Try to take one day at a time. You know that I am thinking of you. {{{{{{HUG}}}}}}} > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Terri, I do believe that fertility problems cause havoc on marriages... Dh and I go through good and bad times on this issue. I know it will get better, it's just such a sensitive issue.... lots of +++++++++ thoughts for you two. lisa r
