Guest guest
Les, Good news, good news. Last year really should never be more than a 'once in a lifetime' experience, if ever at all. Midwifing must be such an amazing experience, a real natural 'high'. Good to hear from you, and great to hear great news. ;-) in Ma. Guest guest
Quick update guys!! Hope you are all well, happy birthdays to those i may have missed! I had my first delivery last Tuesday under the supervision of a qualified midwife...truly amazing and still buzzing from the experience!! Miss Amelie is behaving too well!! I keep checking her for some clues as to illness or next addmission, but its not happened!! I have to say we are getting rather excited as christmas is round the corner and it will be fantastic to not spend it miserable on ICU like last year. We have enjoyed another weekend in Francis House hospice, and its going really well, we have plucked the courage up to leave Amelie with a nurse and go out alone!! some great normality for the girls. Amelie will be starting school in the new year for 2 days per week, it should have been January, but they now realise she needs a one to one teacher 24/7 whilst there so this is trying to be financed and arranged. It will give Darren a much needed break, whilst I am at Uni. well hugs and kisses to all Les x

Guest guest
Les- How nice to hear so much good news! I can't imagine the thrill of delivery. My sister got to witness both my births, but I've never been an observer. Have a fabulous holiday and keep us updated when you can! BTW - How did Amelie get old enough for school??? Yikes! Guest guest
Hi Les I'm glad to hear good news emanating from your household. Your talk of Amelie being home this Christmas (keeping fingers crossed) reminds me of Flo and I celebrating 's 1st birthday as we never got to celebrate her birth. We had a damn good party with family and friends. So if she is there enjoy it and crack open some of that red stuff! best wishes Simon
Guest guest
cheers to you all too!! party for 2nd birthday is booked for 13th Jan, its open house expecting a few hundred throughout the day. Dreading it but Darren said the same as you, we have not celebrated anything for her in her little life to date, so it will go with a huge bang, and sore heads the following day!! Enjoy the festive period, sounds like Flo and I will be resting our brains!! hugs Les x > > Hi Les > > I'm glad to hear good news emanating from your household. Guest guest
Les- That is awesome! We also had a huge bash for Aubrie's 1st birthday. Really a celebration that our family survived the first year. I hope your party is fabulous! Guest guest
Les, Fantastic plans! I remember 's 1st and 2nd birthdays. Someone had the brilliant idea of giving her the cake to sink her head. She did so with gusto! Have a blast. Martha
