Guest guest
I finally caught what the kids have had...oh man. My throat hurts. My head hurts. My face hurts. I coughed from 2 to 4 am. Yuck. I am falling further and further behind on the list (was probably one of the only relieved people yesterday), but will answer when I am better. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon; something I almost never do, but this has been going on for over a week now, and I need to get better. I do not need this. I don't have time for this. And, to top it all off, has not pooped since 1 am Thursday. I gave him a laxative this morning; the doc says if he hasn't gone by evening, we have to do an enema. I SO DO NOT WANT TO DO AN ENEMA. I can't even imagine it with . The doctor's office says " It'll take both you and your husband to hold him down and do this " , and I'm thinking, " It'll take more than that, hon... " I'm honestly afraid we'll perforate his bowel. PLEASE everyone...pray that he poops before bedtime. Raena

Guest guest
> PLEASE everyone...pray that he poops before bedtime. > > Raena ((((Raena)))) Im praying for no enema! (i know too well about those...yuk)But on the good side of it, if you do have to give him one, he will be one VERY happy boy when he's done. Hoping your feeling better soon too! nancy~
Guest guest
Oh Yikes Raena!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel better soon vibes headed your way. No good, no good at all. Moms are not allowed to be ill. Now, for , I cannot imagine you and your husband holding down to do this. I cannot see this happening without great struggle and injury or near injury to multiple parties. What about asking for a sedative for and THEN do it, or ask for the doc for other suggestions. One would thing that this learned man would see the futility of suggesting you and your husband attempt this at home alone. Sigh. Here's hoping for you. Guest guest
Sorry to hear you're sick, Raena! Really...whatever this bug is, is sending A LOT of people to the doctor who usually don't go... (like me). Can't the doc come up with ANYTHING else to give him? Miralax? Mineral Oil? SOMETHING, so you don't have to do an enema... Penny - Feeling bad for all of you :-( Sick (me!) Guest guest
> Oh Yikes Raena!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel better soon vibes headed your way. > No good, no good at all. Moms are not allowed to be ill. >> Well, I'm definitely breaking the rules...apparently Mark was right to nag me into going to the doctor; I'm a wheezing, clogged up, coughing mass of misery. He gave me an antibiotic, and a second prescription I decided not to take after I read what it was...altho I did seriously consider it at 3am... > Now, for , I cannot imagine you and your husband holding > down to do this. I cannot see this happening without great > struggle and injury or near injury to multiple parties. >> We couldn't imagine it, either...and fortunately, didn't have to because had a massive BM around 9:20 last night...whew. Of course, I still have to get him to drink that Miralax every day until he is having regular BMs...but that is a breeze considering the alternative. Then, of course, we get to wean him off of it. Mind you, I'm not complaining...thrilled with the stuff. ;-) Raena

ROTFLMAO.... You poor woman. I hope you don't have to give that enema. :-( Jacquie
