Guest guest
From http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ken We're back at TB House, and REALLY looking forward to going home again next weekend! The funniest thing happened to Ken & I today. While we were in the waiting room at the wound clinic, Ken noticed a gentleman he saw last week sitting in a wheel chair in the liver clinic. So Ken said hi and told the man he was looking much better than the last time Ken saw him. (Today he was moving around under his own steam and his color was much better.) His wife told us she knew all about us, as she had been following Ken's progress though this caringbridge site! She said she read about Ken first on Yahoo. If anyone in tthe PSC group knows who they are, please let me know. We didn't have time to ask their names, because naturally they called us to come in just as we started talking. Such a small world huh? Hopefully we'll see them again tomorrow in the liver clinic. Ken is napping now and I'm making a peach cobbler. Sounds tempting huh, let's hope Ken thinks so too and eats a bunch. Ken went with TJ yesterday over to his house to feed Tyson and was shocked by what he saw! Ken has talked about it several times since then. Seems TJ went over to Ken's house several days (and besides feeding Tyson) he 'transplant' cleaned Ken's house. Washed inside and out of every cabinet, washed curtains, bedding, walls, you name it - TJ washed it. Ken said he didn't reckonize the place and was so proud everything was so clean. The guys watered Ken's peach tree while they were there and Ken said it has grown a bunch. For Tim, athan, Beth and/or anyone else who has had a tx. Ken 'seems' to have lost parts of this month. He doesn't remember too much of June & July, but parts of August?? Did that happen to you? He swears I never made him pancakes or anything else for breakfast besides cereal. He's also 'missing' some doctor visits and other things. It certainly isn't a big deal if he remembers or not, but it is rather weird and strange. That's it for today, all is well in Ken's tummy and with his mummy. Oh yeah, Kim heads to China next week for a two week vacation, adding to her growing list of places she has been.
