Guest guest
I'm curious to know if anyone has tried these two medications for nerve/muscle pain? Did it work, somewhat or not at all and if you had side effects what were they? I take Lodine every once in awhile when my lower back is killing me and it helps when the pain is bad. Both are a muscle relaxer that works by blocking pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. Therefore, would it help those of us who have pelvic floor dysfuntion I wonder. How would I determine if it's working if I only have " contact pain? " . Just a thought. **
Guest guest
I've been taking Soma for awhile now, nightly - a low dose for muscle pain. When I have more muscle pain I take a bit more. When I was going to PT it really helped me to loosen up and sped along the process. I have found that it does not make much of a difference on my vestibulitis pain, but does help with the more internal, muscle pain, if that makes sense.I would recommend it!nicoleTo: VulvarDisorders From: caliprincess2369@...Date: Fri, 23 May 2008 20:59:27 +0000Subject: Anyone tried Lodine or Soma? Guest guest
, Thanks for replying, that makes sense what you said about internal muscle pain. My issue is that I only have pain with intercourse and during PT. It could be that I'm spasming internally and not even know it...I do get spasms in my butt cheeks and upper thighs. In your opinion would I be a good candidate for it? What dosage do you take? ** Anyone tried Lodine or Soma? I'm curious to know if anyone has tried these two medications for nerve/muscle pain?
