Guest guest
Just quickly reporting in. had labs on Monday and met with the new docs today. Labs were really, really good. Protein creatinine ratio at 0.12, C3 and C4 firmly in the normal range. Microalbumen is better than last time. Anemia is history. For those who might remember dragging butt a bit in DC, those lab numbers are no more!. Normal (!!!) hemoglobin and hematocrit. I was a little apprehensive because 's been working simply insane hours and eating junk all summer, but apparently this has had a salutary effect. The new doc (research fellow) seemed more or less OK. To his credit, he did diligently read the case file. He seemed a bit of a cowboy (making decisions without consulting the attending). ZHowever, I'm trying to reserve judgment. The one big change is that the primary email relationship is now going to be between and the doc (with me being cc-ed) which seems like a step in the right direction. Theatre stuff continues. After putting in three 14 hour days in a row, the director told him he had to stay home today. Annie Get Your Gun (closed last Saturday) was simply drop dead awesome. The woman who played Annie had a voice that just wouldn't quit. The Fantasticks opens on Friday. 's not in this one... but did the lighting design (a first - usually that's contracted out) and stage managed it (I was surprised they let him do both. I so dread the end of the season... and all this school stuff that stands in the way until next summer! Cy
