Jen,

I did nerve blocks for my vulvodynia in the form of trigger

point injections (meaning that they are given in the office much

like if you get a vaccine for something like measles) for 3

years until I ran in to a problem two years ago. I have not

gotten another nerve block since.

But there are some others who have had injections to the pudenal

nerve branch. Some that I talked to had good results. I tried

the pudenal nerve block twice and it did not help me. The

reason is because my damaged nerves are different than the

pudenal nerve branch.

Kristy :)

-Jen, I have a nerve block scheduled through a pain specialist on June

6th for the first time. I will let you know if it has any effect

afterwards. I did talk to my primary care physician, who has helped me

the most so far and referred me there, and she thinks I should

definetly have the nerve block. I have issues with the skin on the

labia majora and in the crease mostly, but the pain specialist said

there are three groups of nerves associated with the entire area to try

if the first one doesn't help.
