I am soooooo sorry for your losses.

I have had two myself... last august an ep and lost my right tube and in

January I had a m/c. I know the devastation and pain you are feeling, as

does everyone here.

My only advise to you about ttc is wait until you are emotionally ready...

only you and dh will know when that is.

Also, after two ep's, I was wondering if you were going to a fertility

specialist?? This is something I would also suggest.

You will find a lot of understanding, support and love here. Without these

women, I would have lost my mind a long time ago. They hold me up when I

think I can't go on anymore.... we are all here for you.

lisa r

PS. We have several lisa's, so you might want to use your last intitial

also... We have a lisa r (me!!) and a B and F.... it just helps to

keep us all straight!! We also have a ~ Maree... (ya know I couldn't

forget you girl!!)

, I am very sorry for your losses. I

wish you would of never had to suffer those

losses. It is truly heartbreaking. I had

an ep in Dec. 00, it was our first time trying.

As you know, it wipes you out mentally and

physically. I really didn't have much hope for

my future, until I joined this board and began to hear

some of the sad stories that had a happy ending.

I hope you find the same comfort and support I have

hear. I know it must seem so hopeless

right now but please take care of yourself. I

felt the same way, I didn't want to ttc again and than

felt I had to ttc right away to try to fill some kind

of " void. " It is very scary to ttc but only you and

your dh will know when the time is right. I wish

I could say something that could take your pain away

but I know I can't. It will take a long time but

please take care and keep us informed of what your dr.

says.

J,

Welcome to the group. I wish it was under better circumstances that we were

meeting. I hope you will find the group to be extremely supportive and an

all around wonderful group of ladies.

I'm sorry but I don't have many answers for you, but I do have questions if

that's okay. I am curious about the bubbles in your left tube...did anyone

ever explain what that was or what it was caused by? Do you know which tube

the first ectopic was in? I would definately agree with doing the HSG

again...in fact you may want to even consider seeing a RE (reproductive

endocrinologist) and asking them if there are any other tests you should

have done..have you thought about seeing an RE?

Please take care and allow yourself time to heal. Don't force yourself to

decide about ttc right now...you have plenty of time to decide what you want

to do in that regard. We will be hear you to listen your thoughts and

concerns along the way.

The bubbles were in the dye contrast that they flushed through my tubes.

They said it was quite common for it to happen. I wonder if the bubbles

didn't remain there and cause my first ectopic a month later (it was in my

left tube).

I had not thought about seeing an RE because my hormone levels are normal,

and I do not have PCOS. I do have Luteal Phase Defect, and was prescribed

Clomid to regulate it. I conceived on my first cycle of clomid both times I

have taken it, both conceptions resulted in ectopic pregnancies.

I was on P4 support this pregnancy (100mg suppositories 2x/day), even though

my level was 25.

I am going to request an HSG and folloscopy (which not only checks if your

tubes are clear, but also the condition and if they are functioning

properly). Then, we will start again with the clomid.

I have received a great many emails since joining this board a few days ago.

I want to say thankyou for all of the kind words. It is so nice to know

that there are people out there who understand what I am going though.

Hello ,

I don't remember 'meeting' you...but I go through

periods where I am unable to read messages. I was

treated this past Feb. for an ectopic pregnancy and

have been ttc for a few months. I'm so sorry for your

two losses. Were both of your ectopics on the same

side?

I am now trying to decide if I should even ttc or

just pursue ivf. I had an hsg last month which showed

my ectopic side to be open and my other " good " side to

be blocked. I am so tormented and terrified by the

thought of creating another ep. I have an appt. with

fertility spec. at the end of Oct. but am

contemplating going on Clomid this month. If I were

to have another ep I think I would request to have

both of my fallopian tubes removed. I really don't

know what to do at this point, and I am feeling

paralyzed.

How accurate is folloscopy? Do you think you will

be confident if it shows your tubes are normal? How

are you working through the fear of another ectopic??

Mine seems to be only getting worse as time goes on.

:(

The only reason I asked about the RE is because of you have had multiple

ectopics. Many times REs are also much more knowledge about tubal issues

then a regular OB/gyn. It may be something to consider for the future, but

totally up to you. I just wanted to mention it. I hope that your HSG and

folloscopy will give you wonderful resuls and this is something you won't

even need to worry about.

Hello, my name is and I have followed this food plan for one week.

Today I had a success. I felt badly about things going on in my life and

began thinking of foods that I choose not to eat. Instead I did constructive

activity and ate my planned snack.

I am facing quite a fight. I am 59 years old, recovering from lymphoma and a

false diagnosis of recurrence with one week of inpatient chemotherapy behind

me. This includes weakness and hair loss again.

I chose the WW flex plan because I feel I can follow it healthy and it is

enough food. This compared to the food plan I followed on and off for years

from an eating disorders 12 step program. I'd be interested in hearing from

any of you who have changed from a 12-step approach to WW or are doing both.

I keep looking at my stationary bike, but really I am still trying to simply

muster the energy to fulfill my daily living requirements. Today's exercise

was cooking my dinner and washing the kitchen dishes. Oh, yes, and I did

fill the salt shaker!

I read with envy about those of you who are running and jumping and having

fun with your bodies and exercise.

Thanks for your posts. They are great encouragement.

Welcome!

It sounds to me like you're going to do just fine following the WW plan,

which doesn't officially start introducing exercise until week 3. If you

can work it in, great - but don't sweat it. I just began week two, and I

don't have the mental energy right now for exercise - I'm still

strugggling with what/how to eat. Don't get too far ahead of yourself!

Thank you, ,

This helps. Now I know that I shouldn't worry about the bike for another

week or so.

Hi , welcome!..You already show your strength in the first few

lines. Sounds like your off to a nice start with WW.

Exercise is introduced like said in the 3 wk or 4th wk or

so..can't remember which..

Start slowly and go from there.. When I first started it was with

walking for only 10 min, just about all I could do, now I could walk

all day..and love it..Best to you in everything...~~Kallie~
