Guest guest
We are ttc right now and as I mentioned before, I lost my left tube after ep in January. I've been trying just every other month, but I have read recently that it is possible for the remaining tube to " catch " the egg that is passed by the ovary missing a tube. How probable is this? Who has experienced this? Any comments? Leah
Guest guest
Leah, YUP!! This can definately happen! I have no idea the probability of it, but however remote it may be, it sure makes trying every month worth it, regardless of which side is Oing! Even though it may seem logical, your chances are by no means cut to 50% when ttc with only one tube. Good luck!! -AmyR
Guest guest
leah, I have experienced it!! We say I have Tigger eggs. Back in Jan I was pg (had a m/c) but I O'd from my right ovary and it " bounced " over to my left and only tube. I say go for it every month!! lots of ++++++++++ thoughts for you lisa r
Guest guest
Just for the record - I was in that boat too. Ovulated from the right with a pg. in the left tube. My Dr. said its common enough to ttc every month. Becca > leah, > I have experienced it!! > We say I have Tigger eggs. Guest guest
I just wanted to jump in and say that it has happened to me too! I'm not sure which side I o'd on with this pregnancy (I've been too worried about my progesterone that I didn't ask my dr to confirm it for me when we did the u/s on Monday), but with my last pg, the u/s revealed that I o'd from the side without the tube, and the pg was uterine! I'm guessing I o'd from the same side again, I'm wondering if I can still ask the dr to confirm it at next week's u/s. So don't anyone lose hope that it can't happen!
