Guest guest
off to see my nephro this afternoon, still on endocort, he slipped our meetings to five months after my serum creatinine fell by some 25%, I've been feeling well apart from a viral gut thing courtesy of the kids. Hopefully it'll continue, I'll let people know. I'm taking him copies of the patent on deoxyspergualin for IGA inhibition, and the web site bumpf from CuraGen corporation. Guest guest
bit of a blip, I was on 9mg that droped from 9 to 6 and now I'm on 3. Creatinine has crept back up a bit, but not as high as before. He's keeping me on it and we'll wait and see, I'm seeing him in November, so he can't be stressed about me. Had a chat wrt curagen and their monoclonal doobridonk, very interesting but not without problems, apparently (in decrypted non medical language wot I speak) the antibodies are grown in mice. You can then become sensitive to mice, hmm I thought, (offline) I'll make sure we always have a cat anyway if you then proceed to renal failure, one of the drugs used is a monoclonal oojimmyflip and it might not work. Anyway he was interested and said he'd look it up, Dr Harper who I see did many years research into IGaN, on examination of the brief description he said it appeared to be working the same way that steroids do. so I'm sticking to my small dose of steroid that seems to working (TBC) and not touching cow dairy. One joy of steroids, zits, I've got a very painful sit right on the edge of my lip jeff > Hi Jeff, > > I hope you get good news on your Neph visit this afternoon! > > Please keep us posted on how you are doing. > > > > endocort ongoing > > off to see my nephro this afternoon, still on endocort, he slipped > our > meetings to five months after my serum creatinine fell by some 25%, > I've been feeling well apart from a viral gut thing courtesy of the > kids. Guest guest
Hi Jeff, Thanks for your update. It is never good when creatinine goes up, but I am glad you are still below your previous high. Hopefully your maintenance dose of endocort and the low dose of Pred will be effective in keeping your stable. endocort ongoing > > off to see my nephro this afternoon, still on endocort, he slipped > our > meetings to five months after my serum creatinine fell by some 25%, > I've been feeling well apart from a viral gut thing courtesy of the > kids.
