Guest guest
- That is a wonderful story!! I wouldn't even have thought of trying each type and color of lights! I'm so glad you found some likes and that you found an angel in Wal-mart to help with the search. No doubt her heart is glad for the experience as well. Guest guest
You know, when I took astronomy, I learned that blue light has a shorter wavelength than any other color. There just might be a physiological reason that blue light is soothing to him. I did a google search using " blue light wavelength vision " and found this article about how blue light is being used to regulate internal clocks. It's very interesting as they tested blind people with blue light who were having sleep disturbances. If reads this, she might be able to explain more about this. I'm so glad Wal-Mart was so accommodating! I agree, you should write Wal-Mart and recognize the employee. I made a big fuss over a cast member at Disney World who heated up 's " home lunch " in a restaurant so we all could enjoy a nice meal together...in fact, I was nearly in tears thanking her when we left the restaurant (and the chef for agreeing to do it). Guest guest
And we have written and even phoned Lens Crafters in MA (we're in MO) because of the extraordinary care and stamina one of their people had with (during a disgusting and ongoing period of OCD several years ago that included spitting; it was ghastly). I think it's essential - and also just nice - under such unusual circumstances - to point out the above and beyond duty aspect. If I'm way off base here, I apologize. 's agency went to " emergency status " today because of our horrid, horrid ice storm. This seems to mean that parents or guardians who're in town should, if possible, take their folks so that the other staff can help those who have no one. Fine. In practical terms, however, this means I just have time to skim most posts. does not, definitely does not, approve of an ice storm keeping her home. It's going to be a very long weekend. Guest guest
, that's great that found the blue lights soothing! And good for you in being persistent about finding ones that would work for him--and for the wonderful Wal-Mart employee who was willing to help out. , mom to (4) http://kauffmanlak.blogspot.com/ --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
