Guest guest
My grandson was diagnosed with apraxia at 3yrs. He is now 3.9 yrs. He recieves speech in special ed. as well as outside. His progress has been slow but steady. He also takes the omega's. Just within the last 2 weeks, he has begun stuttering at frequent intervals. It seems to have come out of nowhere. His SLP said that this is not that uncommon for typical as well as Apraxia kids in this age group. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with disfluency?? Thanks. Guest guest
There has been a lot posted on this in the archives. It's very typical, and doesn't mean that he'll have any problems with stuttering down the road. Maybe someone could pull the archive (hint, hint). My computer is extremely slow, so I'm not a good candidate. Kerri > > My grandson was diagnosed with apraxia at 3yrs. He is now 3.9 yrs. > He recieves speech in special ed. as well as outside.
