Speaking of low-point lunch ideas, I thought I'd share my smoothie recipe

with you. I have found that a nice thick BIG smoothie with a low-point lunch

(such as a hot dog for 2 points!) gets me through for HOURS. I developed

this recipe on my own and I think it's fabulous! Let me know if you try

it....and like it!

CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE by Bette

1 pkt WW Chocolate smoothie mix 1 pt

4 oz. 1% milk 1 pt

UP TO 4.99 oz. frozen or fresh strawberries 0 pt

(if frozen, thaw slightly in microwave for a few seconds to save your

blender blades)

4-6 oz coffee 0 pt

1/4 cup Cool Whip FREE 1/2 pt

approx. 16-18 oz crushed ice

TOTAL 2 1/2 pts

In blender, blend 4 oz of milk with 4-6 oz coffee and the fresh or thawed

strawberries. Then blend in chocolate smoothie mix. Add crushed ice; blend

well. Add in Cool Whip Free and blend. Then add water to thin --

approximately 2-6 ounces, depending on desired thickness.

Yield: 32-34 ounces of chocolate " milk shake "
