I forgot to add something to your relpy. In the SOP there is a section also

that deals with activation guidlines, approved by the MD. Under those guidlines

it states, " Trauma victims need to be delivered ASAP to a regional trauma

center " if:

Penetrating trauma to abdomen, pelvis, chest, head or neck.

Transport time to trauma center greater than 15 min by ground
