Guest guest
You are probably right about that. I guess I was just different the first time. I worked until a few days before treatment ( when I was hospitalized) and the bad hypo did not hit until I had been home a week. The second day back at work it hit at 3:00 p.m. I just about made it home and then thought I was going to die. I was dragging before the treatment but wasn't completely wiped until after. But i have another question which I will put in another post to you. > Driving home from RAI treatment is a real dilemma. We should NOT be driving, because hypo drivers are seriously (and legally) impaired. OTOH, we don't want to endanger anyone else by being near them for > any length of time. > > The best solution - and it is far from ideal - is to have someone drive you in as large a car as possible, and you should sit as far from the driver as possible. The ideal driver would be a thyroidless > person; second best would be someone older, rather than younger. Last choice - and definitely not advised - is a pregnant woman. > > > NYC
