Guest guest
Martha- It sure seems like it's worth checking into. Aubrie's surgeon said he usually does this procedure on folks whose bone becomes malformed due to infection - which leads me to believe it can be in late childhood or adulthood. The advances in medicine year to year are amazing - and hard to keep up with! Michele W _____ From: CHARGE [mailto:CHARGE ] On Behalf Of lewcap@... Only fairly recently on this list (never from a doctor or anyone else) did I learn about malformations. I wonder if anything can be done for young adults??? I remember when 's hearing (aided at @1-2 months) was corrected in her better ear to within the normal range. We have a huge house, and in her days as a toddler, I could just call her from downstairs to join us for dinner. Again, the changes are astounding. Guest guest
....ain't it the truth!!! -- for all your points here! pam RE: Aubrie hearing check up Michele, the oblivious part sounds like part of her job at her age. My neice is the same age as Aubrie and there are times that I am totally astounded by her obliviousness when she is so thoughtful and aware of most things around her. I think it is who they are!! Anyway, I am just glad that she (Aubrie) is ok and I guess no remarks are not a bad thing!! pam
