Guest guest
I will precede MO's latest CB update her prior CB journal posting. Both posts are from today. Thanks, everyone, for all your continued prayers & positive thoughts for dear ... (To quote , again... " ...I need you all to keep the faith. Tabitha has been eliminated, not due to the anatomy of her liver but because of elevated liver functions. They were slightly elevated when she was evaluated at 6 weeks ago, but they have gone up substantially since then. She got word from her coordinator about 10:00 a.m., and they have cancelled all of her tests. The good side of this is that we'll have time to do something fun before we leave. A little site seeing may be good for the two of us! Of course, I'll write more when I can. He asked me why I was so sick all the time...he's the doctor, if he doesn't know I'm sure I don't! I asked for 8mg. Rx to replace the 4mg. I have and he flat said, no, stating that this is the stuff they give cancer patients and something must be wrong. So, what this visit got me was an MRI of my brain. I will be having it done at home along with the MRI of my spine. I'm thinking it may have a lot to do with the growth on my spine, not something in my brain. Tabitha has an appt. to see a gastrointerologist tomorrow to discuss her high liver enzymes. I'm glad I'll be along since this is something I know a thing or two about. I'm concerned for her, and hope this proves to be some kind of strange fluke rather than a condition. Liver trouble isn't something I would even want my worst enemy to have to endure. Tab and I are trusting that all is going to work out for both of us! "
