Guest guest Posted September 13, 2007 Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 We don't...but would this work as a game plan...if the force of the accident was of sufficient amount that you have to " look " for an amputated part, is there any real likelihood that it will be able to be reattached?? Secondly, I would ask the facility(ies) where you will take these poor folks and ask their surgeons what will and won't be re-attached and base your plans and education on that.? There are a whole host of things that go into these decisions...but some guidance (like it has to be more than 2 fingers before reattachment will be done, etc) would help guide these decisions.
