Holliday, the Lufkin paramedic who was featured in a Houston Chronicle

article on uninsured Texans, has received surgery to improve use of her left

arm.

Kudos to the Memorial Herman Hospital System, its administration and staff for

providing FREE surgery, hospital stay and therapy for .

As she heals, please consider the idea of hiring this young lady as a

dispatcher or billing person. She might not be able to handle field duty, but

if she has the knowledge of a paramedic, there may be other things she could do

to enhance a service somewhere.
