Part-Time Firefighters Needed

Must have EMT or Paramedic Certification in addition to Basic Structural

Firefighting Certification.

Paramedic - $ 11.00/hr EMT - $ 10.35/hr

Must have knowledge of current fire and rescue techniques such as codes,

principles of Fire Suppression and EMS/Paramedic procedures. Ability to

read and review such items as professional journals and publications and

legislative data also must be able to compute formulas for Medical

Emergencies. Ability to write such items as letters, reports and memos

as well as skilled in the operation of various fire and emergency

medical apparatus as well as basic office equipment.

Requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent with EMT-P or EMT

Certification through the Texas Department of Health Services and Basic

Structural Firefighting Certification through the Texas Commission on

Fire Protection. Must also possess at least a Class B Exempt Drivers

License.
