Maybe one of the projects you can do is to gather up the junk food in the house -- and throw out what's open, and take the unopened stuff to a food bank. That's what I did when I decided to lower my carbs -- I took all this high carb, low fiber stuff to a food bank to ease my guilt (rather than throwing it away). And maybe you can make some sort of exercise plan a goal. Or trying a new recipe each day? There are some fabulous pasta salads and sandwich ideas in the Weight Watchers cookbooks that I have. You can make that one of your projects for the week -- find 3 good healthy recipes! Just a few thoughts to keep you motivated during your tough week ahead. Having purged my house of " bad " foods (my husband is totally on board, that always helps if the spouse can/will do this), I find I have less trouble at home than at work. I work in an office, and people are always bringing treats in.... ayiyi. Cindy

Tossed out the leftover Christmas cookies and fudge into the garbage can outside. > And maybe you can make some sort of exercise plan a goal. Or trying a > new recipe each day? I actually went to the gym and did my full workout this morning. I was very proud of myself. I have made plans to work out every morning this week. I like the recipe idea. I'll look around. > Just a few thoughts to keep you motivated during your tough week > ahead. Thanks very much.
Guest guest
Great ideas Cindy..and follow-up . I find myself sitting by the leftovers also (and even some of the nuts and chocolate that didn't even get made into cookies). I've got some of the hold habits coming back (where I feel that I need to finish everything completely). Thanks for offering encouragement....now for some water to start.. Guest guest
I let my husband eat the cookies (except the ones I carefully planned into my points), and today I said, " The rest of these are stale, " and threw them out. This is a first!!! Hope everyone's holiday season was merry, bright, and OP.
