TSH .279L limits: .350 - 5.500

TSH .291L limits: .350 - 5.500

Thyroxine (T4) Free, Direct, S T4, Free Direct- 1.19 limits: .61-1.76

Antithyroglobulin- 2105 limits 0-40 (they repeated the test on this

one)

Thyroid Peoxidase (TPO) 641H limits:0-34

My Thyroid uptake and scan results:

24 hour uptake was measured at 4.4%

Impression: Barely visible thyroid with low uptake. The differential

includes exogenous iodine or thyroid hormone absorption to block the

thyroid or a subacute viral thyroiditis.

Where did they get this about " subacute " thing, unless you have both? You

have Hashimoto's Disease, hands down and altogether. Your antibodies are

extremely high. The TG one looks like mine, but my TPO one was equal to

your TG one also. Why is Hashi's not included in this

report----unbelievable that it's excluded??????????????????

What is subacute viral thyroiditis?

You've got Hashi's.. right there in black and white.. It's an auto

immune disorder.. that's not viral.. it's not something you catch...

arggh.. I don't get some docs.. where do they get their degrees? Is it a

case of self printing... ?

Are there blood tests that I can request to determine if it is

Hashi's? I think I can get my doc to perform them. I can't wait 3

weeks to see an endocrinologist only to perform more tests and do the

waiting game again.
