Guest guest
It can take a long while for symptoms to show when the thyroid slows down, so you don't need to be shocked at all... you should feel really really lucky.... You get to catch this long before your body has to deal with tons of recovery work from long term hypo... Guest guest
Hi Carole, Did you say in earlier posts that you had been diagnosed with CFS? How long ago was that? Did the doctor do a thyroid function test then? If not, then I think these results are shocking. I think all UK doctors (who at one time discounted CFS/ME as all in the mind, now use it as a diagnosis too often when they haven't investigated other issues) should check for thyroid issues before the results get as bad as this. --- shanjo-mail mail@...> wrote: > Hii all > my results on discovering hypothyroid in April are > > TSH on discovering the problem was 89.6 and free T4 > was 4.4 > > Drs thyroid lab ranges TSH are .3 - 6.0 free T4 10 - > 25 > > > > I did not know I had anythng at all wrong out of > what is normal for me, should I be shocked??
