It was prescribed to you and they didn't tell you what for?

Not a good doc.

Just as an FYI.. the adrenal stuff that I used is OTC (over the counter, no prescription) and, since it's a desiccated glandular (like Armour, it too is a desiccated glandular) it can be taken sublingually, so no absorption issues. It can also be taken, and should be taken, first thing in the morning along with the natural thyroid, I popped both of them under my tongue at the same time)

I use the past tense cuz I dont' need to take it any more!!!! Yipppeeee I have happy little adrenals again, finally! (though I still have 3 or 4 pills in case I have a super stress situation, to use for protection so that they don't get womped again)

Nope.. to start, pslit them into quarters and just take a quarter of the pill sublingually. it takes about 10 or 15 minutes ot dissolve.Just tuck it way back under your tonuge and it will do it's own thing... the hormone passes through the membranes under there and into the teeny little capillaires.. directctly into the bloods stream.. the whoosh throughout your body right away to do it's work.

And also you say you take this at the asme time as your thyroid. Should I do the same thing put the Armour and the Adrenal in mouth sub. at the same time? Thanks, bernetta

I, personally, think it's the best way.. that way both the thyroid and adrenal hormones are in your blood stream first thing in the morning.. then, as soon as they are dissolved, you eat breakfast.. that keeps your energy level up, reduces the stress to your adrenals, and gets your hormone conversion started to keep you going...

Granted this is all subtle stuff it's not going to get your face flushed with excitement or anything.. but it's keeping ahead of things, making sure that the hormones are there for your body to use as you get your day started... that's what makes the difference.. at least in my experience.

If your body is always starting the day at a deficit, challenged.. that slows the healing process.

Picture it like this.. you want to make supper... you go into the kitchen and before you can even start you have the sink and counter tops filled with dirty dishes to wash before you even have room to work... How ambitious will you be to get supper made?

Same for your body.. it's got all this work to do, get your body temp up, your mind in gear, your muscles moving so that you can do the stuff that you need to do.. and before it can do all this stuff it's struggling just to get the energy and motivation to get you started...
