It would have been nice if I had been told that Cortef was adrenal replacement . I did split the natural thyroid dosage today. Now I will have to look and see how much Cortef I have left and if there is a refill.Peggy wrote: Being on Cortef means that you ARE on adrenal replacement, in fact it is the main one! You go girl, you're already working on

adrenal replacement, but no, I wouldn't increase the thyroid yet, so that you won't be confused on your testing, at least not for 8 wks since last dose change, if you are going to test at the end of 8 wks or so after you make the change. But, split thyroid dosing for natural thyroid is always better, IMO.

Lol, that's what WE'RE here for cause the doctor certainly isn't going to tell their patient what they're giving them and what it's for, oh no, Heaven forbid. Sheesh, I never get over how they still think they are Father God and we're their little children who can't possibly have a reason for wanting to know something about our own bodies.

don't you just love the speeches and lectures? I was a body builder before this thyroid mess.. I was into nutrition, exercise, body development and took GOOD care of me... and this schmuck tells me, well several of the schmucks did.. that I needed to be responsible and start taking care of myself... the 200 pounds of weight that I put on was through my own negligence.. from over eating and not get up off my lazy butt and exercising...

EXCUSE me... over five years of daily work outs.. the last several years was a four hour a day three day split routine and he tells me that I'm not responsible, I'm lazy and I don't care about my body...

Please...does anyone in their right mind and healthy body throw away that many years of commitment, blood and sweat voluntarily to go sit on a couch eat bona bons and gain 200 pounds????

Do they give up their good paying job, lose their house and work in a sweat shop factory, for half the pay, voluntarily?

Do they lose that job for not being able to walk without crutches voluntarily?

geesh.. I guess we do.. after all we're just stupid women that latch on to thyroid as an excuse to be lazy and get out of work...

.... sliding soap box back into corner and looking for padlock and chain....

Who can I mail the padlock key to??
