Call for Candidates-Board of Trustees--National EMS Museum

Foundation, Inc

The Board of Trustees of the National EMS Museum Foundation are seeking to fill

five (5) Board of Trustee seats, fulfilling the requirement of 15 Trustees, as

outlined in the Foundation Bylaws:

ARTICLEÂ Â 1--Section

1Â Â Â The property, business

and affairs of the corporation shall be controlled and managed by a

self-perpetuating Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees shall consist

of: fifteen (15) members from EMS organizations and individuals with an

interest in the Foundation

Individuals interested in being considered for

nomination will use the following criteria

 Submit,in writing/e-mail, a short description of why they want to serve on the

BoT (a

candidacy statement), contact information, and a short resume/CV to any current

Board of Trustee member.

All candidate proposals must be submitted by close of

business September 21, 2007 (30 days) after the call for candidates goes

out.Â

Nominees will be notified on September 25, 2007 and may

campaign up to the time of the election.

The election will be held during the annual meeting,

October 11, 2007 in Orlando, FL.

New Board Members will be seated immediately following

the election.

 Only submissions made to current Board Members

(listed below or by going to the museum website’s

committee page and clicking on one of the Board Member profiles)

 will be accepted.
