Guest guest
Cancer is scary. But it does get better as time goes on. I was diagnosed with Stege II infiltrating ductal carcinoma in May 1990. I had one bad node out of 23, 6 mo of chemo, no radiation or reconsturction. It will be 17 yrs for me in May. Hang in there. I will keep you in my prayers. Guest guest
I had 4 treamtents of FEC, 3 treatments of ameridex, and 2 treatments of taxol. I was in bed the entire 4 months and am still not right. Have neropathy in feet very bad, now have horrible back pain, and chemo brain. I had a great life until this started. My doctor does not have any explaination for me. My fatigue level is still very high. I spend alot of time in bed with bone, feet pain. Anyone else have problems like this? shadow3717 shadow3717@...> wrote: I was dx with stage 2, grade 3,breast cancer no node involved, 3 negs. I have had 3 out of 6 cycles of chemo. Guest guest
Your fear is normal. My cancer came out of the blue and messed up my active, healthy life; it was staged between 2 and 3 (the lump was 6 cm), no nodes involved, estrogen negative, premenopausal. My youngest had just turned 5 and all I wanted was to live to see her graduate from high school... I had a mastectomy, 6 cycles of chemo (CMFP) followed by 6 weeks of radiation. There were times I could barely move, I was so tired. I thought I'd never have energy again. One year later my hair had grown back and with my brother doing the driving, I was able to take my kids on a victory road trip to celebrate life! This all happened 18 years ago. My little girl is married and a mom now. Don't give up, sweetie. hugs, Nan > > I was dx with stage 2, grade 3,breast cancer no node involved, 3 > negs. I have had 3 out of 6 cycles of chemo. Guest guest
I had Arimidex, too, but it was not in treatments. I had to take 1 pill 1x a day, in the morning, preferably at the same time. 3 treatments of Arimidex seems strange. The Arimidex had nasty side effects for me, too. diane hawley dlhinlud@...> wrote: I had 4 treamtents of FEC, 3 treatments of ameridex, and 2 treatments of taxol.
