I have been to 5 doctors recently, and over the past few years, too

many to remember. I seem to only find doctors who graduated from

Idiot University and I am getting discouraged. I actually picked up

the phone and started calling. Got me nowhere real fast. They all

think Im up to something sneaky over the phone I think. ooops!

Anyway, I simply want a doc who will treat me and my RAI'd thyroid

lab results by the Free T3 and Free T4 and NOT the TSH. Seems

impossible. What am I doing wrong folks? I have walked in, sat on

the table, explained the entire situation including textbook hypo

symptoms, stuck out my arm and gave blood... only to be told to lower

my dose due to the low TSH, even though I flat out have low Free's

also. (they are in the range now, but the low end still.) How can

someone look at all this and still say Im overtreated? I dont know

if my spirit is broken, Im doubting my own sanity, I am sick of

looking at their stupid smug faces or if I need to take up drinking

hard liquor for breakfast.

I have decided one thing for sure. I am going to create my own

questionairre. And the next time one of these over paid morons hands

me a " depression questionairre " I'm going to ask them, in return, to

fill out my " Deaf or dumb: Which is it? Questionairre " .

I've hard that some have had good luck by calling pharmacists and asking

for the names of docs that prescribe Armour. The reason being that there

is a better chance the an Armour doc knows more about proper labs and

levels.

Two things to add to your questionnaire...

How did you obtain your medical license?

A. Cracker Jack Box

B. Photo copied one that I got out of a dumpster, I wiped off the mustard

C. What license?

I understand. I think the Idiot University graduates more than any other. Your spirit isn't broken, because you haven't lost your sense of humor. .Peggybluesparklepony wrote: I have been to 5 doctors recently, and over the past few years, too many to remember. It's cuz they use those 'no postage necessary if mailed in the US' thingies in place of stamps.. so they don't even have to be smart enough to find proper postage and lick it... As long as they can check the box on the piece of paper confirming their name and address and get it sealed and in a mail box they get the diploma.

* I didn't just say that, did I?*
