Hi Jan, I'm also on .175 Synthroid. I've been on Femara since the middle of

November. I had some extra creakiness for the first few weeks, but now except

for the initial " uhh " when I first get up after sitting a long time, I'm doing

fine on it. So " some " of her on the board are not having an awful experience

with Femara. I just wanted to let you know so that you're not too alarmed if

that IS what your doctor wants to try next.

p.s. I was born in 1948, so I'm not one of the younger ones on the board either.

Thanks for the post. I appreciate the info. I think it is good to get both

sides of information.

I hope that it is less pain and discomfort than on Arimidex.
