Guest guest
I sent a post the other day about this, but did not hear any opinions from anyone. I have been told suddenly that I need a heart catherization quickly, because they think my thyroid is affecting my heart I guess. I did not speak to my own cardiologist, but his partner. I told him that if my doctor thinks I need another one that he should be the one to tell me and explain why they can't do other testing on my heart first. I do have chest pain ofte, but I blame it on the thyroid medication and/or thyroid disease. Has anyone else had to have this done? Thanks
Guest guest
I had a echo of my heart and ended up with atrial fibulation that went away after a little over a year and they got my thyroid under control. But I still remember the cardiologist coming into my hospital room at the time shaking his head that I was really lucky there was no permanent damage to my heart and he really thought there would be.
