Hi Ruth, I had saw a PT about a month ago and got a compression sleeve too. My

82 year old mother lives in Indiana and isn't in the best of health. I wanted

to be able to fly from Minneapolis at the drop of a hat if necessary without

worrying unduly about lymphedema.

The PT told me it would be a good idea to wear it at least part of the time when

we take long car trips, when I'm walking for a long time, gardening etc.

Actually, the only time she told me NOT to wear it was when I'm sleeping.

I felt much better after talking with her.
