Guest guest
25 hours of surgery? Maybe 2-5 or so? I hope you continue to have positive results. They say biopsy results are usually only 24 hours? So hopefully you'll know soon, but I guess they may take a little longer. Hope you feel really good soon. I don't know what I'd take if I have any surgery. I get SO sick with vicodin and codeine and fentanyl, the only thing I'm sure I can take is percocet and not sure where that is in the spectrum of pain relieving (took it after gall bladder). Lets hope I don't need it, but its always been a worry of mine. Well, let us know the results as soon as you know. Will be interested. Get well!!! I'm glad your surgery went well. I needed to hear that because I'm going in this morning to have a lumpectomy and I was starting to feel a little nervous. What happens next? I'm not sure when I'll be logging in again today. But I will get back to you soon. Thank You, Lois Young

Guest guest
Hi Lois – For me, the next thing was a pathology report on the tissue they removed. They needed to check to see if the cancer spread beyond the tumor – something they can’t tell before the lumpectomy is done. They can also determine what kind of cancer it is so they have something to base your future treatment on. The ladies in this group can get more specific then I can.
