We are in search of an energetic, highly motivated individual that wants to make a difference in our community. We are the 911 service provider for the City of Angleton and about 400 square miles of Brazoria County, responding to about 3100 emergencies a year. AAEMC has proudly served this area since 1980 and we were the recipient of the 2002 TDH Volunteer Provider of the Year Award and the 2004 DSHS EMS Public Information Injury Prevention Award. Our benefit package includes: 401k with a 3% match after one year that increases to 4% after 5 years, major medical, dental, life and vision insurance, holiday pay, sick pay, sick pool, paid vacation, bereavement pay, internet and in-house continuing education. We average a 60 hour work week, that's 20 hours of overtime pay each week. At 60 hours a week starting pay for an EMT-I is $40,040+. Top pay for an EMT-I is $47,320. Applicants must possess a clear Texas Drivers License, be drug-free and have the ability to pass a written and skills test.
