Guest guest
and inquired about a small lump in the " good " breast. My feeling is that it is one that I have been monitoring for about 3 or 4 years. That breast had an ultrasound when the lump did not show up on mammo all those years ago. Now if they had only done an ultrasound on the right one may have caught the cancer sooner! Any way I figured it had shifted due to a small implant put in to achieve symmetry. Soooooo the surgeon did a very thorough exam found it and marked it in my records. His theory is quite interesring. He feels it is a fibrocystic change that is horomonely induced. Yeah, I remember those, before menopause and they are quite painful, which this is not. I told him that I don't think I have the hormones to explain such a thing!!!!!! Duh, he is the top breast surgeon in the region, he does clinical trials. Hey, maybe he neglected to look at my age and I look younger than I am!!!!! Ruth PS I talked him into prescribing a sleeve as a " preventative " . I was fitted, today and will be using it when I am involved in " repetative motion " type stuff. Probably should have been using it when I was painting the ceiling and walls of the bedroom.
