Guest guest
I have high cortisol as well, never low- not once in the four time a day check. What is remeron? Sue ' I just got done reading the article. I take remeron every evening to aid with depression and sleep. I did canary club testing and cortisol testing for myself came back HIGH, not low. So I have to disagree with there statements. I have been taking remeron for over a year as well. So it's not something that I just started. It does help dramitaclly with my ability to get to sleep and stay asleep through the night, although at times I do awake several times when I have higher stress during the daytime hours. Thanks for sharing that. Donna
Guest guest
Sue' Remeron is an anti-depressant that helps with depression as well as anxiety and panic attacks. I have been on it for one year and take it once a day just before bedtimeand it makes you very sleepy ( or atleast me it does ). It helps me sleep through the night except on days when I have alot of stressful events happen throughout the day, then I tend to wake acouple times. Now I have tested Very LOW in the am cortisol, and normal for the afternoon, and HIGH for the 2 night time ones. Guest guest
Thanks for the info Donna. I take a low dose of prozac and then Zyrtec for allergies at bedtime and that stuff knocks me out cold. No idea on the cortisol though except that I live in a “high alert” frame of mind and that must be it, but not sure WHY that IS it sue Sue' Remeron is an anti-depressant that helps with depression as well as anxiety and panic attacks.
