Guest guest
I didn't mark this off topic because it isn't. Low cortisol versus high cortisol. This is a big surprise to me, considering the fight or flight syndrome, but it does make sense, when I think about it. Fear of authority, so the moors of society are more often more pronounced in a normal or more high cortisol? You'll understand this statement when you read this article. Anyone out there who has or had children with violent aggressive behavior that was never resolved? I was married to two such men and have known or wondered about why some people grow up never to be contained. Wondering, as I read this article. My older brother, who was a brilliant manic, whom I have strongly suspected of having had lifelong thyroid disease (never diagnosed) since probably puberty, had all these unexplained behaviors, switching back and forth between being a kind helpful person to a person who beat his wife and didn't make any sense during these times. Most of us now know the connection between the adrenal glands and the thyroid by now. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2000/01/000120073039.htm
