numbness in the underarm area

BELINDA WROTE: I have the same weird numbness in the underarm area...

I am facing my Sentinel Node Surgery this coming Thursday and then who

knows what afterwards. It will be in BOTH breasts, so I guess I risk

double the number of side effects you all mention.

I just wanted to share that about 15 years ago I had a plantar nerve

release in my foot and had a " weird numb spot in one of my feet " that is

hard to describe, yet that too would " itch " once in a while. To this day,

I still have that numbness, but to a lesser degree. That's what happens

when we sever nerves... our brain does not remap the change and thinks

it's still intact. Or at least, that's how I see it. So I guess I will be

discovering what that is like in my underarms or chest area in the near

future... sigh.
