Guest guest Posted February 25, 2007 Report Share Posted February 25, 2007 hi, i had a mastectomy in June - left side. i also had a sentinel node biopsy done at the same time. at the time of my surgery, i had a tissue expander put in for future reconstruction. 3 weeks ago, i underwent the exchange surgery to have the filled tissue expander replaced with a silicone implant. all has gone well with that. just within the last week or so, i've experienced a itch under my arm. i go to scratch it and it is numb but i do feel an itch there. scratching it does no good because i have no feeling in that spot under my arm. it's a very strange sensation. does anyone else have this type of thing going on? just trying to find out. thanks. lorena ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone.
