Multi dosing it and taking it with food was how I first started on it, it was the only way I could take it without getting sick. For everyone else. Synthetic T4, during the manufacturing process, had sodium molecules combined with the T4 molecule. The only way to remove that sodium molecule to make the T4 molecule usable by the body is with stomach acid. The most efficient way to do that is to take the T4 on an empty stomach. That generally means 4 hours after a meal or 1 hour before a meal. Some folks, not many, will take half their dose in the morning, before breakfast... and then the other half before bedtime, with their last meal being at least four hours before... I also know a couple that set an alarm during the night to dose and then go back to sleep, so that they don't have to try to juggle meals with their dosing...
