Guest guest
Sandy -so sorry you are in so much pain - it sounds just horrible. Nerve pain is awful - I know because I suffered from it too. Many have that reaction from the Neulasta - it's a great drug (does what it is supposed to) but can cause severe pain. It took some months for my pain to subside (although I am lucky enough never to be in the pain that you've experienced), but it does get better. Glad to see you posting. Be well and feel better. Guest guest
And all this from a Lumpectomy? Really? I'm scared now. Man, that is terrible pain, I can tell by your meds alone. I can't take vicoden, it makes me SO sick to my stomach, the only narc I've ever taken I know of besides fentanyl for a colonoscopy which did NOTHING and Hurt like HELL and I then gave them hell, I was sick for a week with gastritis. So I can only take percocet. That's all I know. Scares me, if I ever need pain meds, But wow, I sure hope you can find out what the heck is wrong! Sure sounds like nerve pain to me and maybe they just mislaid one or something. I have no idea, but I'd sure as hell keep after them, doesn't sound right to me. Good luck! Let us know, will be anxious to hear. Pat Not on Armidex but I've got pain! Guest guest
For nerve pain my doctor told me aleve is the best. After my SNB I was in so much pain I couldn't stand it and I took I think 4 aleve's. I certainly can't recommed it but the nerve pain stopped immediately!I'm still alive 5 years later so it did'nt kill me! Guest guest
Sandy, I'm not on Arimedex either and I have experienced pain with Neulasta. My long muscles and bones hurt so bad; my doctor prescribed Hydrocodone for it. Only thing with it is that it's habit forming so during the day I rely on extra strength tylenol and then take the hydrodone as part of my regular bedtime pill cocktail (warfarin-ativan-now plus hydrocodone). YOu mught ask you doctor what he thinks; I really think it helps the muscle pain-the bone pain not so much but better than tylenol. > > Hello everyone i've missed posting, but this the first day in 2 weeks, > that my pain has been bearable without taking any medication.
