Guest guest
Look to your gut, get a second opinion. There is an online tool that many oncologists have access to adjuvantonline.com It is a shared decision making tool into which your onc can plug in your specific stats, ie stage, grade, er and Her2 status, age and general health. The results are a personalized report of exactly what kind of benefit you will get from chemotherapy etc. I had a 3% better disease free survival rate with chemo, not good enough for me to go through it, and so declined. You will feel more empowered if you are part of the decision making process. Good luck and lots of deep breaths!
