E. Gilliam follow up

For all of you who have been asking. Paramedic Gilliam is now in the

5th week post anaphylactic reaction form a bee sting. He has been awake and

steadily improving over the past two and half weeks. He was transferred from

Lubbock UMC hospital to Alliance Hospital in Odessa (3rd floor, Health

South) where he is in physical rehab. It appears that has not suffered

any brain injury, but he is working very hard to regain his strength and

motor skills.

told me today that he should be out of the hospital next week and will

be living with his parents while he continues his recovery. We hope to have

him back at work in two or three months.

Thanks for letting us know he is getting better. Tell that the EMS folks

out here are sincerely relieved he is doing so much better and his prognosis

seems to be so terrific.
