Guest guest
Update... I went back to the doctor this morning. I showed her my labs from being on 100mcg Eltroxin for a decade or more, as well as all the labs with Armour and Combinations that tanked my TSH (not a bad thing) and T3 (not a good thing). She agreed to let me continue taking the 100mcg Eltroxin for 3 months and then I will get retested. My heart has settled down and she said that the report showed that it was all in the upper atrial portion and did not indicate heart disease. She surmised that the 'over the top' T4 was the culprit as has been proven by cutting back. My max heartrate during the test was 150, which is very fast for me with a resting heartrate of about 50! So all is well here for now. I may have been able to better if I could stick it out with the Armour trial, but at least now I'm happy to be back where I started so that I can just take my pills every morning and get on with the rest of my living. Thank you all for the wonderful, quick responses when I was in panic mode last week. When I get back from my trip next month, she'll test my lipids and other things and we can go from there. Thanks again to all... JudyP
