Guest guest
I have started a group for anxiety, depression and breast cancer. Here is the url. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AnxietyDepressionandBreastCancer/ in just a few days I have had over 20 members join. Sometimes if we can't handle the depression we need to get on some sort of medication. Have you talked to you dr about that? Other than meds, keeping busy with a hobby or job or anything else to keep the mind busy. Prayer is also very helpful. Guest guest
Dear Aylin, I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Hair loss is a visible sign that we have cancer, but it is only temporary. It will grow back, in my case thicker and with a nice wave! Don't worry about your weight gain. That might be a side-effect of the anti-nausea medicine. Your body is fighting to stay healthy. Better too much weight than not enough. There are groups specifically for women having cancer at a young age. One of them is: http://www.youngsurvival.org/ Does your hospital have support groups? My hospital has one specifically for young women. take care,
