Guest guest
Hi all, we are wrapping up our 3rd week at the rehabilitation program in Michigan. (This is our 7th trip to anextenisve program) Anyway, those of you that know us, is 11 yrs, she cannot walk yet due to neuromuscular issues. She can sort of take steps w/assistance in a walker, but she hangs on the wlaker alot. Well , this program has been great, they focused on arm strength, which is needed to walk, which i didnt realize and also her balance. Well, today stood in crutches! This is real big for us. they say that someitmes kids dont walk in wlakers and can go right to crutches! I cried, another milestone I wanted to share.
