Guest guest
Hi all Happy Easter to you all. Happy Birthdays to everyone I may have missed...sorry!! Amelie starts school two days per week on the 18th April, Its been hectic to sort out all her equipment oxygen and complex needs...dont need to remind most of you I am certain you will remember it all very well...and for those not starting school yet...be warned!! We have finally had our loft (attic) conversion which was kindly paid for by the local authority, we are now in the process of decorating it all, and moving children and there vast belongings (junk) around to accommodate Amelie with her very own room, we have been squashed in our room for two long years, I cant wait to have my own space back, and be able to access the ensuite without a hurdling to get to it!! Amelie is very well, we have been home one year with no hospitalisations...can you believe it...no neither can we!! We wrote to when you wish upon a star, and received a 42 inch wall mounted plasma tv and dvd...get writing those of you in the UK if you have not already, the kids love it its amazingly large and Amelie can see parts because of its size. Midwifery is difficult, I am revising for exams whilst painting its no fun!!, not enough hours in the day, I need to pass year one otherwise I will be put into a lower group back 6 months, so its vital I pass them, to stay with my friends we have a good support system going, and I have made lots of new friends. I am glad I have chosen this career pathway though it is definitely for me!! Well missed you all tons and occasionally trying to read...honest!! hugs to you all Lesley Amelie and the Clan xxx

Guest guest
glad to hear all is well--although difficult, good luck with your testing--you'll shine!!! and with painting--our bathroom that hs been in pieces for 11 years is finally coming together--I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! then we start downstairs!! and painting the rooms and stripping wallpaper in keegan and liam's room--is still noah's ark from baby days--liam is 6--but at least it's realistic animals--regardless they want camo not noah's ark. take a deep breathe and ace those tests!! enjoy your daughter taking a huge step into childhood!! Guest guest
Wow Les, Can't believe that time has come already for Lady Amelie to start school! Where did the time go so fast? I bet you have been busy in preparation. So how are you feeling about it now? Big beginnings. Hope and trust it will be as fantastic for her and she will love it as much as our little lady loves her school. You should see the excitement when told she is going to school! Congrats on the loft conversion. Glad you appealed Social Services decision. Well done for your staying power. Good luck with the restructuring of the household and enjoy your space back. Very good luck with the exams. Just know you will do well and be with your buddies next year. Really glad you are enjoying it so much. Me, can't wait for my course to be over! Roll on July! Oh, by the way, have been meaning to e-you for ages to say thanks for thoughts on psyco-escort. She is soooo gone! What a saga. More another time. Dying for my bed as usual. Girls are on holiday (as are yours I am sure), Elly is starting a week's football thing tomorrow (pink tomboy) and Jess is in for lots of homework having dodged it for a week! Sleep saga continues. More another time but it is her excuse for not doing any homework and for sabotaging any arrangements we have for social things as a family. Hmmm... hopefully sorted soon. Oh, enjoy the BIG plasma screen. Can't imagine Jess prising herself from the TV if we had one that large. It is hard enough to persuade her that we do not all want to watch Fifi and the Flowertots, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go and Backyardigans all the time. She is a telly worm these days. There again, so is her sister, but at least they like similar programmes. Greetings to your household, and I bet Daz will be glad of the little time while Amelie is at school. Whatever will her do with himself???? Take good care Les and the Channettes. Hugs.........Flo > > Hi all > > Happy Easter to you all. > > Happy Birthdays to everyone I may have missed...sorry!! > > Amelie starts school two days per week on the 18th April, > Its been hectic to sort out all her equipment oxygen and complex > needs...dont need to remind most of you > I am certain you will remember it all very well...and for those not > starting > school yet...be warned!! > > We have finally had our loft (attic) conversion which was kindly paid for > by > the local authority, we are now in the > process of decorating it all, and moving children and there vast > belongings > (junk) around to accommodate Amelie with her > very own room, we have been squashed in our room for two long years, I > cant > wait to have my own space back, and be able to access > the ensuite without a hurdling to get to it!! > > Amelie is very well, we have been home one year with no > hospitalisations...can you believe it...no neither can we!! > > We wrote to when you wish upon a star, and received a 42 inch wall mounted > plasma tv and dvd...get writing those of you in the UK if you > have not already, the kids love it its amazingly large and Amelie can see > parts because of its size. > > Midwifery is difficult, I am revising for exams whilst painting its no > fun!!, not enough hours in the day, I need to pass year one otherwise > I will be put into a lower group back 6 months, so its vital I pass them, > to > stay with my friends we have a good support system going, and > I have made lots of new friends.
