We have access to a chat room in the group but don't use it anymore because

Yahoo causes way too many problems with it.

I have to caution you that back in 1998 I tried a chat room for all cancers. For

awhile it was ok but after awhile it started attracting some really wierd

people. One person came in and said they hoped we all died from our cancer and

then another started telling how he sexually abused his little granddaughter.

That was the end of it for me.

Maybe one of the other ladies can help.

Hugs

years ago I was actually asked to leave a chat room on cancer; it was msn , if

i remember correctly.. I signed up for it just to see what went on, what

questions were asked and answered, etc. But then the moderator started asking

me very personal questoions about my cancer, where I went for treatment, what

was being done, what I had done, etc. etc. I responded that since I didn't know

any of the people in the room and some of them really seemed like they didn't

belong there, that I would wait and see before I responded to any one. I was

then asked to leave; one person even questioned whether or not i really had BC.

I signed off and then complained to MSN about it. I was told that that

particular room wasn't an sponsored MSN chat room, just one that had been

started by some individuals and MSN had no control over it, which I found hard

to believe but...........

You have to be so careful with the chat rooms never really knowing who is in

there.

That's why this site and these e-mails are so wonderful for us all; there's no

way anyone could make up what goes on in here you know?
