Guest guest
I had never been bothered by a UTI's in my life other then one in my post partum week after only one of my kids deliveries (in my 20's age bracket). Then suddenly when in my 50's age bracket I was getting them and they not the fever type but the type you go in with thinking you will have to get urgently catheterized. Terrible spasms and dysuria. After one to many of these I got sick of being told the old " now remember to wipe from front to back " as if I had suddenly in my 50's forgotten how to do that LOL. So I went to a specialist and long story short. My culprit was caffeine. He does not know how correct he was for I had worked my way up high high on caffeine without even realizing it during the years I was suffering from a sleep disorder that caused undue drowsiness by day. Hence the higher and higher caffeine my body must have just automatically or subconscieously began seeking and drinking. I had resolved the sleep disorder problem but had not come off of the high doses of caffeine. When I did that per specialists orders all pretty much settled back to normal. Some say after a total hysterectomy some women are more prone so I suppose I could get a straggler but only rarely since I cut WAY back on caffeine.
